Fun Day 2021
Hello to all of our readers - at our “Fun Day” on the 30th October we decided to reach out to the community with an idea first developed by the Counties Evangelists in the West Country. We at Mount Pleasant Gospel Hall thought this would be lovely way of reaching out to the local community here in Lowestoft in the surrounding area of the hall. We gave away several of these mugs at the Fun Day and now have an invitation to go to Jeannie Mann Court which is sheltered accommodation for older people.
Below in the photographs you can see a team from MPGH preparing these mugs that consist of a: teabag, coffee bag, satchel of drinking chocolate, sugar, biscuits, marshmallows and a leaflet explaining the good news of Our Saviour the Lord Jesus also timings of our local meetings as well.

Great fun, BBQ and Cream Tea at our Open Day
Our Open Day in September 2012 proved great fun even though, like all good events, it was hard work behind the scenes.
Matthew and Michelle from Ipswich and Jon ran the BBQ (as you can see getting it going proved a very smoky experience for the guys). 
As well as beef burgers and hot dogs visitors had the chance to enjoy a cream tea inside the hall. Janet Hill embarked on a baking marathon providing a magnificent 100 scones for the event.
Brothers and sisters all worked together to make sure the event ran smoothly and everyone had a great time.
